Lately I've been planting my ancient seeds with deluxe speed-gro to propagate them across the greenhouse faster it still takes most of a year, starting from 1 seed. I usually get the greenhouse unlocked in fall so I try to save some blueberries or seeds just for this, but I usually don't have the cash/organization to do all blueberries so I also put in cranberries and coffee beans (roughly equivalent profit) and some hops (even better profit once I make some kegs), along with 9-18 starfruits for junimo huts once I finish the CC, and any other collection crops I may have missed. Ideally I save up until I can buy and plant all 18 on the same day so they all mature together, although I will relax this requirement for a speed run.įor the dirt (16 quality sprinklers, to be replaced by 6 iridium sprinklers), my favorite first thing to grow is blueberries, just because their big round shape and the way they bounce makes them fun to harvest. The primary similarity is that both allow all crops to grow. To appease my OCD tendencies they have to be laid out in a specific order, counterclockwise from the door: 3 each of cherries, apricots, oranges, peaches, pomegranates, and apples. Growing crops in the greenhouse has a lot of similarities with farming on Ginger Island, introduced in the 1.5 update to Stardew Valley.
